The capacity-building technical assistance we provide has several goals:
IEL focuses on preparing, supporting, and mobilizing leaders of all ages, stages, and contexts in becoming champions of equity by building their capacity to navigate effectively across sectors and facilitate inclusive decision-making. Whether you engage with us individually or in small or large groups, there’s something for everyone:
Whether you’re new to the Community Schools strategy, need assistance to expand or sustain an entire system, or need to strengthen family engagement practices the IEL team is readily available to respond to your unique circumstances and co-create a results-based transformation plan.
Whether you're a Principal, District Leaders, Family Engagement Specialist, Community School Coordinator, Initiative Leader, or Youth Service Professional, we have a variety of opportunities for everyone.
Holding true to our belief in the power of community, we accelerate the development of adaptive, collaborative, and distributive leadership along with the scaling best practices through the shared experiences of Community School professionals in peer groups.
Each year CSxFE brings together people from across the country who believe all children deserve a safe place to live and opportunities to learn and thrive. The conference is designed to catalyze collaboration, action, and a renewed commitment to transforming our practices, partnerships, and systems. Participants engage in an abundance of learning and networking opportunities designed to increase their knowledge of Family Engagement, Community Schools and other whole-child strategies. Regardless of your role in the eco-system this conference is for you.
Our Resource Library contains a vast wealth of tools, templates, guides, and reports that you can use in your CS work, especially for those needing support in scaling up their systems. Not seeing what you’re looking for? Contact us at ccs@iel.org for more support.
