Community School Network Holds Legislative Briefing Over Zoom

The 6th annual Community School Advocacy Day and Legislative Briefing was held over Zoom.

Community schools are a learning model that follows 4 basic pillars:
  • Expanded and Enriched Learning Time and Opportunities
  • Collaborative Leadership and Practices
  • Active Family and Community Engagement
  • Integrated Student Supports
The schools themselves teach the whole student, serving as hubs for needs of students and their families, including mental and medical healthcare, and expanding learning after school and during summer.
